Obverse: Three-quarter head and neck profile to right; legend upper edge; laurel garland lower edge; artist's signature H Schwegerle under neckline of bust.
Reverse: Over calotte of earth showing northern Europe, floats Zeppelin dirigible from right to left across center field; above, German Imperial Eagle (
Reichsadler); below airship, year-dates 1914 — 1915.
