  • Gyula Tóth (Hungarian: Tóth Gyula). 1918 

    ・A・MAGY・KIR・6・HONV・GY・E・DICSŐSÉGES・HARCAINAK・EMLÉKÉRE・ (memorial to the glorious battles of the 6 Honvéd Infantry Regiment).  Cast bronze, red-brown patina, 88.46 mm, 136.51 g.  Vorzüglich (extremely fine), spot of discoloration on reverse.  Very rare.

    Obverse: Standing on grassy ground-line a Honvéd soldier, full front, looking left, in uniform with open blouse and bared chest, left hand holding rifle with butt on ground, right arm extended with upturned hand; behind him, figure of an ancient warrior from Árpád era (c. 845 - c. 907), left hand resting on younger man's shoulder, right hand holding hilt of massive sword, point resting on ground, round shield slung on his back; in background, light rays emanate from behind main figures, and a battle of men and horses in progress; title legend surrounding edge above grass; in exergue artist's initials separating year date 19・T・GY・18. 

    Reverse: 17-line text inscription (military engagements): 1914 / ・VIŠEGRAD・CRNI・VRH・ / ・KULIŠĆE・LOŽNICA・GUČEVO / ・PERINA・BAČINOVAC・MORAVČI・ / 1915  / ・BUTELKA-VIŽNA・WOLOSATE・ / ・KIESVÖLGY・HATÁRSZEG・BUTLA・ / ・SIANKI・DROHOBYCZ・UGARTSBERG・ / ・CZEREMHOW・MEDWELOW-LAS・ / ・BOL・ DOROGOSTAJ・POGORELCZY・ / ・ 1916 ・ / ・RARANCZE・KIRLIBABA・TATARKA - / REBENCZUK・CAPUL・IZWOR・ / 1917 /・KIRLIBABA・SIHLOIA・ / ・MARDZINA・RADAUTZ・ / BURLA.
