Obverse : Death wearing English cap smoking a briar, seated on a coffin inscribed, "Home Rule R. I. P.". In his left hand, a bouquet of shamrocks. In border, "Maistrausz von der griinen Insell, 1916" (May flowers from the Green Island).

Reverse:: Spade decorated with the arms of Great Britain shoved through a harp (arms of Ireland). Date, 1916. In border, "Dem General Maxwell dem Totengraber Irlands" (To General Maxwell, Ireland's grave-digger).
