Esseö, Elisabeth (Erzsébet) von.  1918. 

HINDENBURG  —  ÆT・S・LXX (ætatis suæ [in the year of his age] 70).  Cast bronze, 70.02 mm, 179.4 g; vorzüglich (extremely fine).  Rare.

Obverse: Portrait profile bust in military collar to left; title legend around edge divided left and right by image; artist's monogram encircled ligatured ƎE below bust. 

Reverse: Naked warrior in Stahhelm 3/4 to right, driving enormous sword vertically downward into the occiput of vanquished, coiled, winged dragon; legend HABENT ・ SVA ・ FATA ・ HEROES ・ 1918 ・(heroes have their destinies) around edge.
