Obverse: Portrait profile bust in military collar to left; title legend around edge divided left and right by image; artist's monogram encircled ligatured ƎE below bust.
Reverse: Naked warrior in Stahhelm 3/4 to right, driving enormous sword vertically downward into the occiput of vanquished, coiled, winged dragon; legend HABENT ･ SVA ･ FATA ･ HEROES ･ 1918 ･(heroes have their destinies) around edge.
