  • Maximilian Dasio.  1915. 

    WILHELM・II・DEVTSCHER — KAISER・K・V・PREVSSEN✠ (Wilhelm II German Emperor, King of Prussia).  Struck bronze (or brass), silvered, 33 mm, 12.7 g.  Edge-punch C. POELLATH   SCHROBENH..  Vorzüglich (extremely fine), silver finish rubbed, slightly patinated.

    Obverse: portrait bust of emperor to left in Garde du Corps uniform, fur-collared coat, and parade helmet surmounted by eagle; title legend in pearled border divided by eagle ornament. 

    Reverse: emperor in Garde du Corps uniform on horseback to left, led by winged Nike holding victory wreath in right hand; legend GOTT MI - T VNS (God is with us) top edge divided by image; year dates 1914 - 15 in exergue.
