    GOTT —  MIT —  VNS  /  EUROPÄISCHER KRIEG (God is with us / European war).  Cast iron, blackened, 67.67 mm, 60.16 g.  Vorzüglich (extremely fine).

    Obverse: War, or Second Horseman of the Apocalypse, personified by helmeted, naked man mounted on rearing horse to left; sword in right hand resting on right shoulder, flaming torch in left; in background, burning city; year-date 1914 in exergue; artist's initials RK lower right. 

    Reverse: Center of field diagonally crossed garlanded sword and sheaf of wheat bound together with ribbon from which Iron Cross hangs; title legend upper and lower edges, respectively; year date ✹19 — 15✹ inscription center, separated by image.
