Obverse A warrior stands ready to strike again at a hydra. He has already cut 5 heads off two remain. I assume the heads refer to countries that had fallen to Germany.
In the distance is (supposed)Germania naked her legs tied and she holds a sheaf of wheat/corn? I do not understand the symbolism.
