German Night Patrol
Three German scouts walking up hill in the Forest of Argonnen in North East France. The lead soldier has a sword attached to his belt possibly an officer. He's looking through his telescope which is pointing downwards, presumably at the enemy positions. Above is a star constellation and according to the Imperial War Museum in the UK, is the Great Bear.
